– Yellow ribbed crop top from River Island
– Stripey print cropped fitted jacket, with frayed hem, from Topshop
– Tropical palm leaf print skirt with contrast black & white stripes from River Island
– Belt from Primark
What to do when your bored girls?… Go shop shop shopping and treat yourself!!… I snapped up this gorgeous double split olive coloured midi from Topshop for £34.00!!! I wore mine with a basic black vest and a gem embellished belt from River Island. This skirt is great because its so versatile and the colour is lush. Team it with a leather jacket and you can still get away with wearing it in the Winter. I might just be crazy, but whatever the weather I wear what I want. I walk into a store and my heart is set on something, my mind is telling me I need it!!
I really love this outfit its simplistic yet stands out. I brought some beautiful blue chiffon mesh fabric a while ago. Buying this skirt has inspired me to make a similar style of skirt using that fabric. When i’ve finished making the skirt I will post it on here for everyone to see, and if your interested I will put up a tutorial.
Okay, so this person was like to me, OMG!! that skirt is disgusting, like why did you buy that… My opinion, this midi is a must have!!! I think anything can look beautiful. It’s about having the right attitude and the personalty, and having the confidence to wear what you want.
Almost every season a pencil skirt is in the top 10 of my fashion wish list. Figure flattering and easy to work, you can never go wrong!!! This River Island Brocade skirt was snapped up in the sale. I look for printed pencil skirts – I love bold and in your face prints. I teamed the skirt with a Jacquard peplum top, which I will admit is not new, I brought it around a year ago… I never throw anything away in my wardrobe, even if it is really old!! Everything will always come back in fashion. The black faux leather peplum belt is also from Riv!! You know that saying less is more, well for me its totally the opposite, even if the outfit is nice, I always have to add a bit more. I get soo excited and inspired when creating an outfit. I love belts!!! A good belt always finishes off every outfit. I want to showcase my own take on fashion and trends to everyone. Follow me if you love sewing and have a passion for fashion. I will be showing you my own designs that I’ve made as well as my fave picks on the high street. Coming soon – how to make a bow belt – please check out my blog. thankyou xoxox
